How can they not say it's okay?

I'm sure someone on here has already posted on this, but I've been away for a few days.
The Supreme Court's decision on medicinal marijuana is just asinine. Why shouldn't people be able to use it if they need it to get through chemo or for some other ailment?
After all, they'll give Percosets, Demerol, Oxycontin and morphine to anybody who has any kind of chronic and/or severe pain. They're all a hundred times more addictive than pot. What's the difference? Such a stupid argument.

Very stupid move, IMHO. Although I think marijuana should be legalized, taxed, and sold anyway. In all my years working in a jail I have never seen anyone violent and whacked out on pot, but I have PLENTY on alcohol and it's a-ok! go figure...

huh, funny how when there's even a good use for a drug (and I suppose there's always a good use if you look for it) minds still remain closed. Too bad.

It's a dumb-ass move. I have chronic pain and have a supply of percocet if I need it....but seeing as I had a physical dependency before I try to stay away from it as much as I can. If pot were legalized for medical use I'd be better off on it...less dependency, just as effective.
