Y'know....I'll admit, back around election time, I was scared of Obama. I dreaded what the country might become, with such a leftist-liberal radical loon in the Oval Office and a majority party of Socilaist, liberal whackos in control of the House and Senate, as well. A party of people whose concerns have been shown to lie more with non-traditional, anti-American ideals and interests, than with advancing the cause of Americanism.
It frightened me; it did. I feared for my country. But now, after around, what, 200 days or so, I see that there's not all that much to fear.
Obama and the Democrats are proving to be so inept and ham-handed in their efforts--thanks, perhaps, to their putrid disdain for, and arrogant underestimation of--the American people, that they're even proving to be rather comical. And Barack's inexperience is catching up to him, I think.
Their sound bites are coming off as wildly divisive, haughty and dismissive. Take, for example, the recent comments by Nancy Pelosi, about how people are bringing swastikas to Town Hall meetings. What?
Suddenly--and rather too coicidentally, I think--elected officials are discovering swastikas and other acts of race-related vandalism at/near their offices. Before Nancy's comment.....no reports. After, they're sprouting up all over, and Democrat legislators are suddenly themselves seeing the swastikas out there in the crowds of old ladies, veterans and passionately concerned, well-informed citizens. Fascists! How dare they actually read the bill....?! How dare they understand what's going on....and reject it!
The only ones won't recognize this as an inept, glaringly obvious smear tactic are those who don't wish to.
And I saw a picture of Obama the other day....is he going gray already? Is he sprouting gray hair? Must be rough, not getting all-around "attaboys" anymore; getting criticized, and, for the first time in your life, NOT getting everything you want.
Hard on the old ego, I bet.
Obama and the Dream Team of leftist whackos in his cabinet and administration are proving to be just that: whackos. He, and they, are just Politicians, with all that term implies....and they're not even very good ones, at that.
I'm not scared anymore; at least, not AS scared. I'm still fighting when and where I can...I attend and organize Tea Parties; I'm going to DC on 9/12, for the march there. I write letters to the Editor of several papers, and often fight in those pages with angry liberals who respond, shocked that anyone would DARE to oppose, or even quetion, the will of The One.
But I don't worry as much, anymore; now I'm more angry. Like millions more of us, many of whom voted for Obama......
