Just something wrong here

I'm listening to the news, and they just did a story on a company recalling all these different kinds of crackers.

Now...what's up with that? The day before they swear in a black man for President of the US, they go out, roundin' up a buncha Crackers! I just don' like it......

It is a nice punch line, but the "crackers" are made with PB, and there has been a salmonella outbreak (again).

Hmmm, does this include animal crackers?

Well you know....and this didn't occur to me until later, not only are the swearing in the black president, but it's MLK day! LOOK OUT ALL YOU CRACKERS!

Anyway, somebody also mentioned how long it took the Obamas to get into Blair House; you know, it's really a shame how, in America today, the black man STILL has trouble getting housing.

Okay, those are my moderately racist comments on the subject. So sue me.

I just recently learned about the "crackers" moniker.  I had no idea when a preacher used that term in a sermon about two weeks ago.  I had to ask what it meant.  He said it would have been akin to calling me a yankee.

Well, I am a yankee.

Well guys working for a plant that produces meat products ( peppy.... if you eat any of it I am sure we made it here in WI ) I know the HUGE cost ( well not know but know of ) this will be for all the companies involved. Recalls cost millions of dollars just not in product loss, but getting it off the self ect ect. So this is gonna most likely put alot of companies in the hole big time.

Add into the factor here that the place where this tarnished product came from might as well close shop now....even if they survive the financal strike ( which is not likely ) the companies that is sources to will not buy anything from them... for a very long time if ever. Any future custumers wont touch them either.

Also add into the fact that now there is going to be more regulations ect ect at the plants that buy stuff from others to make final product is gonna cost a ton too.

See when we even catch a issue at plant level we have to do what is called a PCoA ( preventive course of action ) and have to file the paperwork with USDA ( o those people are such a joy to deal with...NOT ).... even if its a simple grease issue ( all grease used on the food processing machines are edible... though I wouldnt eat a handfull of it... it wont kill you but your tummy wont like it to much in large quanities lol ) so yeah... extra checks or whatever... we just have to come up with a corrective course of action.

With this said... expect stuff to cost a bit more.... this is gonna hurt alot of companies
