For some reason, I kept getting kicked out when I tried posting this over on LW's Ann Coulter thread. Here's what I said:

As has been pointed out on several other threads just lately, those "peace-loving, non-agressive" Muslims, those who some claim to oppose the fundamentalist ways of hatred, destruction and violence, need to speak up and say so. Let's see some portests of their own. Get out there and scream about the hijacking of their faith by mutants. Join the military and fight them.

Otherwise, we have no choice but assume that they support it, too.

Silence gives assent; it also speaks volumes.

I'm not great with the language, but I think Mar'ouki dislikes radical Islam as much as the rest of us. It gets carried over to a conservative argument, though, and the whole 'in for a penny, in for a pound' thing doesn't work. It's enough to agree on the worst of it, though, I think.

That's a problem for many of these arguments, I think. We all get set agreeing on stuff and then one of us says "Oh, and how about those stinkin Liberals!!" and half the room gets uncomfortably quiet, lol. I think the Chavez thing was a point of contention on another blog. It's a big tent, and we all fit in it, though.
